Foreign Prisoners Network

FPN contributes direct engagement with foreign detainees and families, practical knowledge of detention realities in Mauritius, case signals and a platform through which people can share their experiences.

UN-FPN Prisoner Dignity Initiative

UN-FPN extends the work into a broader rights-based framework focused on humane detention, the Mandela Rules, prolonged remand, family contact and international visibility.

Shared objective

The partnership does not interfere with lawful prosecution. It insists that prosecution, detention and imprisonment remain lawful. Together we seek conditions in which evidence is heard, abuses are investigated and every person is treated as human.
