If you experienced or witnessed police misconduct, prison abuse, corruption, torture, prolonged detention or a death in custody in Mauritius, preserve what you know and submit it through the protected FPN case-intake channel.

What strengthens an assessment
Useful information may include:
- Full chronology with dates, times and locations
- Names, ranks, institutions or identifying details
- Court, prison, police or medical documents
- Original photographs, video or audio
- Names of witnesses and how they can be contacted safely
- Previous complaints and the response received
Confidentiality and fairness
Information is assessed, not automatically published. Submission does not establish wrongdoing or create a lawyer-client relationship. MIRLA and its partners may seek corroboration and will use careful language that respects due process.
